@wontinga Well Penn and Teller exposed a pro routine using clear plastic cups to billions. That included proper sleights, false transfers and final loads. Not this junk shown here one finds in a beginner "magic set" Did it kill the effect? Nope - it's more popular than ever.
Moral - don't get worked up about exposure. The layman will forget it in ten minutes

@xXScareCroeXx - When ONE individual PURCHASES a "magic" trick that is one thing and IF this old cocksucking mother fucking bastard would HAVE SHOWN THE TRICK WITHOUT exposing it, telling us to go to a magic store and purchase the trick THEN I would praise him but INSTEAD he is exposing the effect AND THEN telling us to BUY IT at the magic store.

@doctorkoon Ah, my mistake then. I thought you meant the cups and balls in general. True, this is one of the most basic routines with it. More so something to get you started. And I kinda like Joe's videos myself.
In fact, I was one of the beginning magicians looking at this not very long ago.

@LordGosai I was responding to folks who were giving the poster a hard time simply for posting this video, and others. This isn't in the nature of the "Masked Magician," simply taking all the fun out of magic for the masses: it's a tutorial. If folks enjoy performing or practicing magic, then somebody's got to teach the tricks, especially the classics. This is a bare-bones performance that does not give away anything, really. Most of the folks looking at this are probably beginning magicians.

@doctorkoon Which is kind of an odd philosophy when Cups and Balls is considered one of the prerequisites by many. Houdini himself (although considered not much of a magician by his contemporaries) was quoted saying "I consider no man a magician who cannot perform the cups and balls."
And it does, when well performed, have all the stuff. Sleights, misdirection, acting, engaging the audience. The whole thing.
