   you need cards that work well together.if your going to play with dragons look for cards that boost all dragons there power of lets you pay less mana for dragons(dragons cost alot to play) it also depends on what color or colors you want to use. to research cards check their web site magicthegatering.com

   I have a 5 color dragon deck and it is hard as heck to get going but once it does look out. First thing you need is dragon speaker shaman because he reduces the cost of playing the dragons by 2 colorless mana. Also you need to use the cheap dragons like furnace whelp or rakdos pit dragon since they only cost 2 red and 2 colorless. At least two of each. I only have one of each legendary dragon since they are legendary and like two of each other dragon. My deck is extended ready but if you want to use the older dragons that's cool too. Just make sure you have four dragon speaker shaman's otherwise you'll be dead before the first dragon hits play. Also have stuff that lets you look for dragons like dragon storm. It's a high cost for sure but you could use one in the deck. Hopefully I helped you a little and if you need more help go to http://www.magicthegathering.com.
